About the job
Scanwick is Hiring — Frontend Engineering Intern
Scanwick is looking for a detail-oriented Frontend Engineering Intern to join our product team as we build clear, auditable financial-data tools for lenders and financial institutions.
We are looking for someone who understands modern frontend web development, component-based architecture, and responsive design, and is excited to craft clean, responsive interfaces for complex financial workflows. You will work directly alongside our technical team to build and refine production dashboards.
What You’ll Work On
- Building and refining user interface components using modern web frameworks (React/Next.js).
- Integrating frontend components with backend REST APIs and handling async data streams.
- Translating UI/UX wireframes and Figma designs into clean, production-ready code.
- Ensuring cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and high dashboard performance.
- Debugging UI issues, fixing styling inconsistencies, and improving component usability.
Requirements
- Solid foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React or Next.js.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON handling, and state management.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows and basic command-line operations.
- A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing personal web projects or web applications.
Compensation & Transparency
We want to be 100% transparent: Scanwick is an early-stage, pre-revenue company preparing for enterprise launch. This is an unpaid internship position with no monetary salary, data stipend, or equity compensation.
What we provide:
- Real Production Experience: Contribute directly to a live, enterprise-facing financial platform.
- Direct Mentorship: Hands-on guidance, code reviews, and feedback from senior software engineers.
- Official Certification & Recommendation: Verified letter of completion, internship certification, and reference for future roles upon successful completion.
