Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, data analysis, and reporting.

This is a 100% remote contract position working with business and technical teams to collect, clean, analyze, and present data.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Use Excel for data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
• Identify data quality issues, trends, and inconsistencies.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation.
• Work with business teams to understand data and reporting requirements.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders.
• Document data analysis processes and findings.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams in a remote environment.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Reporting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Good experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data cleaning, validation, and analysis.
• Basic knowledge of data visualization and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• Power BI or Tableau
• Python
• ETL/Data Warehousing concepts
• Experience with relational databases
• Basic understanding of KPIs and business reporting

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
