Role Purpose
The Construction Operations Manager is a key Leadership Team role responsible for owning, integrating, and scaling all construction operations across the organization. This position ensures disciplined, predictable execution of all construction projects, upholding the Monroe Way, the Monroe Proven Process, and EOS operating discipline. As a critical member of the Leadership Team within the Production Operations Function, this role is accountable for driving results in construction execution, schedule reliability, margin protection, and operational capacity.

Key Accountabilities
Operational Leadership - The Monroe Proven Process
Own and enforce the Monroe Proven Process from site visit through project completion.
Ensure disciplined timelines, handoffs, documentation, and quality standards at every phase.
Hold Project Managers and field leaders accountable to daily consults, weekly quality control, and zero-delay execution.
Schedule Reliability & Execution Discipline
Ensure predictable production flow from contract release through closeout.
Own schedule commitments and weekly execution promises.
Identify and remove bottlenecks before they impact customer experience or margin.
Margin Protection & Financial Performance
Accountable for construction gross margin performance.
Ensure estimating assumptions are executed as planned.
Identify cost variances early and take corrective action before margin erosion occurs.
Customer Experience & Reputation
Uphold the Monroe Way in every client interaction.
Serve as escalation point for major project or client issues.
Ensure projects close out professionally with strong client advocacy.
EOS Discipline & Accountability
Own and report on a robust EOS construction scorecard.
Identify, prioritize, and solve issues using EOS tools.
Execute quarterly Rocks and Leadership Team priorities.
Participate fully in Level 10 meetings, quarterly, and annual planning.
People Leadership - Employee Engagement Lifecycle
Lead construction team members through Attract, Hire, Onboard, Engage, Develop, and Retain.
Hire using core-value-based interviews and GWC (Get It, Want It, Capacity to do It).
Coach performance, reward core value alignment, and address misalignment quickly.
Cross-Functional Integration
Operate with a company-first mindset.
Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Operations Manager to ensure clean handoffs, scope clarity, and execution readiness.
Remove friction between Sales and Production through process discipline.
