About the job

About Centralize

Enterprise sales runs on relationships, and every tool built to manage them is a database from 2005. Reps lose seven-figure deals because they can't see who actually matters inside an account. We're building the system of intelligence that replaces the CRM.

Centralize is the relationship intelligence platform for enterprise revenue teams. Companies like Webflow, Decagon, Elevenlabs, Brex, Cognition, and LangChain use us to close their largest deals. We've grown 5x since last year, and customers are pulling us forward faster than we can ship.

We’ve raised a Series A led by NEA, bringing our total funding to $18M+ alongside Salesforce Ventures, Y Combinator, and operators including Stewart Butterfield (Co-Founder & CEO, Slack), Cal Henderson (Co-Founder & CTO, Slack), and sales leaders from Figma, Box, Dropbox, Anthropic, and Notion.

Centralize was founded by Rachit Kataria, a founding engineer on Facebook Shops who helped scale it to 250M MAUs, and Will Wang, who led the launch of Slack Huddles, the fastest-growing product in Slack's history.

The role

Join as our first Customer Solutions Engineer and work directly with our largest, most strategic customers to turn their implementation needs into live, working integrations on Centralize. As a Solutions Engineer, you'll partner closely with customers to understand their technical needs, help configure and integrate Centralize into their existing systems, and make sure every implementation lands smoothly, all while giving customers an experience that feels genuinely helpful at every step.

This is a customer-first, hands-on, technical role that sits on our GTM team. You won't just advise customers on what to build; you'll build alongside them, handling integrations, CRM migrations, and custom configurations end to end. Depending on the week, expect to spend roughly half your time talking directly with customers, and the rest shipping the code needed to solve their problems.

Compensation: $120,000- $180,000 + equity + benefits.

What you’ll do

  • Partner directly with strategic customers to scope, build, and ship the integrations, CRM migrations, and custom configurations they need to get live on Centralize.
  • Dig into logs and the codebase to understand what's going on before looping in core engineering, so escalations arrive with useful context.
  • Respond to technical questions, security concerns, RFI/RFP responses, and implementation feasibility discussions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and technical liaison throughout the sales cycle from early engagement to contract negotiation.
  • Design and propose scalable technical solutions based on customer needs and Centralize’s product capabilities.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, and proposal documentation.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility, share customer feedback, and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Partner with Go-to-Market teams to shape deal strategy and shape technical strategy early in the sales process.
  • Work closely with Technical Delivery and Customer Success to ensure smooth transition from pre-sale to implementation.
  • Ship quickly and iterate based on customer feedback.
  • Turn field patterns into playbooks and internal know-how that make the next implementation faster.

What we are looking for

  • 1+ years of experience, ideally technical support, customer engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role at a fast-growing SaaS or tech company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. You'll be explaining technical work, like a CRM migration or a custom rate-limiting setup, to non-technical stakeholders, writing clear async updates so customers always know where things stand, and handling hard conversations (a delay, a bug, a scope change) in a way that builds trust rather than erodes it.
  • Solid engineering fundamentals — you should be able to read a codebase, ship a feature, and debug a real problem.
  • Ability to translate customer problems into practical, working solutions.
  • High agency — you see a problem and move on it, rather than waiting to be told; comfortable owning a queue of open issues across channels and driving them to resolution.

Benefits

  • Fully covered medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Parental leave
  • Unlimited PTO plus company holidays
  • Quarterly offsites
  • Equipment stipend
