Canada Based Video Director

We’re looking for an experienced director/shooter based in Montreal to help capture short-form social content for founders and executives.

Responsibilities include:
Directing founders and executives on camera
Operating camera and managing basic lighting/audio
Helping talent deliver natural, confident performances
Capturing both scripted takes and more conversational content

Ideal candidates have:
Strong experience shooting professional social or branded content
Experience directing non-actors, founders, or executives
Their own professional camera package and basic production equipment
A good understanding of vertical/social-first content
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

Please note that this is a freelance contracter position, with the possibility of a full-time role if we find the right person. As of right now, the rate per day is $600-$800 with a typical shooting time of 6 hours.
