AI Cyber Security Inern

We are looking for an AI Cyber Security Engineer intern to help build secure, intelligent, and scalable AI systems for enterprises. You will work at the intersection of Cybersecurity, Generative AI, LLMs, Cloud Security, and AI Agents to identify vulnerabilities, automate security operations, and protect AI-powered applications and enterprise data.

The ideal candidate is curious about both AI and cybersecurity and enjoys building practical security solutions rather than only performing traditional security assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for AI/LLM applications, AI agents, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify and mitigate AI-specific risks including prompt injection, data leakage, model abuse, insecure tool use, jailbreaks, and excessive agent permissions.
• Conduct Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, threat modeling, and security reviews for AI and SaaS applications.
• Build AI-powered security tools for threat detection, anomaly detection, log analysis, vulnerability discovery, and incident response.
• Implement security monitoring and automated detection using SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, cloud security, and observability platforms.
• Secure AI agents, MCP servers, APIs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and AI-to-system integrations.
• Work with AWS/cloud infrastructure to implement IAM, network security, encryption, secrets management, and access controls.
• Develop security automation using Python and AI/LLM frameworks.
• Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, AI security frameworks, and attack techniques.
• Help establish security standards aligned with OWASP, OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, NIST AI RMF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR/DPDP requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement Secure-by-Design practices.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Web Application Security, API Security, Network Security, IAM, authentication, and authorization.
• Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with AI security threats such as prompt injection, indirect prompt injection, model/data poisoning, sensitive data disclosure, and insecure agent/tool execution.
• Programming experience in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Linux, Git, REST APIs, Docker, and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with AWS security services and cloud security concepts.
• Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, or equivalent security tools.
• Ability to analyze logs, security events, vulnerabilities, and attack patterns.

Good to Have

• Experience securing LLM applications or AI agents.
• Knowledge of MCP, agentic AI, multi-agent systems, and AI orchestration.
• Experience with AWS security, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD security, or DevSecOps.
• Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR, EDR, CSPM, DLP, WAF, API gateways, and secrets management.
• Experience with OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE ATLAS, NIST, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
• Security certifications such as CEH, Security+, OSCP, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent are a plus.
