The Role:
We are looking for an Accountant to own the company's day-to-day financial operations — bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance — while supporting management with the financial visibility needed to make sound business decisions. This is a high-trust, detail-critical role with direct exposure to large-scale AI/GPU infrastructure investments and a clear path to grow into a broader finance function as the company scales.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions; manage general ledger and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank, credit-card, and account reconciliations.
• Manage vendor invoices, payments, and accounts payable; ensure timely vendor payments.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices; monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile customer and vendor statements.
• Prepare financial reports, cash-flow statements, and cash-flow forecasts for management.
• Track revenue, expenses, project costs, and operating expenditures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Track project-related expenses for data centers, GPU infrastructure, construction, equipment, and utilities.
• Assist with accounting for capital expenditures and major infrastructure investments.
• Maintain records for equipment purchases, fixed assets, deposits, and project-related costs.
• Track project budgets against actual expenditures.
• Ensure accounting records comply with applicable standards and company policy.
• Support external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals; prepare documentation for tax filings and audits.
• Assist with payroll-related accounting and expense reconciliation where applicable.

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred / Highly Valuable
• Experience working with a U.S.-based company; familiarity with U.S. GAAP and tax requirements.
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in technology, infrastructure, construction, data centers, cloud computing, or energy-related businesses.
• Experience managing accounting across multiple projects, entities, or business units.
• Familiarity with capital expenditure and fixed-asset accounting.
• Experience with international transactions and multiple currencies.
