Senior AI/ML Engineer

ORYN is an AI technology company building production-grade intelligent systems across Generative AI, AI agents, retrieval, machine learning, and workflow automation.
We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer who can take ownership of AI architecture, implementation, evaluation, deployment, and production reliability.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can move confidently between AI/ML and production software engineering.

What You'll Do

• Design and build production-grade LLM and AI agent systems
• Develop RAG, semantic search, embeddings, and reranking pipelines
• Build agentic workflows, tool calling, and multi-step reasoning systems
• Design evaluation and benchmarking frameworks for AI quality
• Improve latency, reliability, retrieval accuracy, and infrastructure cost
• Build scalable backend services and production APIs
• Evaluate commercial and open-source LLMs
• Monitor and debug AI systems in production
• Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and technical direction
• Mentor engineers and participate in technical hiring as the team grows

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of professional software engineering, ML, or applied AI experience
• Strong Python development skills
• Proven experience deploying AI or ML systems into production
• Practical experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, or AI agents
• Strong backend and API engineering fundamentals
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong understanding of testing, observability, scalability, and reliability
• Ability to independently solve ambiguous technical problems

Experience with technologies such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, LangChain, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, FastAPI, AWS, GCP, or Azure is valuable.
We care more about strong engineering fundamentals than familiarity with any specific framework.
