Staff Frontend Engineer - Mobile

OP is partnering with a fast-growing iGaming startup to hire talented individuals to build the next generation of sweepstakes-based gaming experiences. Operating at the intersection of gaming, technology, and user engagement, the platform enables seamless cross-game interactions powered by innovative mechanics. With plans to rapidly scale this year, the team is seeking builders who thrive in fast-paced environments where ideas move from concept to live product in weeks.

What You’ll Own

• Develop scalable, high-performance experiences for iOS and Android, including APIs, authentication, payments, and real-time services.
• Architect and build production mobile applications from the ground up using React Native, owning the technical direction from initial architecture through launch.
• Build reusable components, design systems, and frontend architecture that support rapid product growth and high traffic.
• Develop web experiences using React and Next.js while collaborating with product, design, backend, and creative teams.
• Integrate animations, interactive assets, and AI-assisted workflows using tools such as Claude, Cursor, MCP, and structured Figma systems.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of senior-level frontend engineering experience with proven experience building and launching React Native applications from the ground up.
• Strong production experience with React Native, iOS and Android development, and scalable mobile architecture.
• Strong proficiency with React and Next.js, including frontend architecture, state management, API integration, performance, and scalability.
• Experience translating Figma designs and creative assets into polished production experiences, with a strong understanding of UX and visual quality.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or MCP, with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment.

Bonus Points

• History of building production mobile applications from scratch using React Native, taking ownership from initial architecture through launch.
• Experience launching applications through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Experience with Figma MCP, design tokens, or AI-assisted frontend workflows.
• Experience with Rive, Lottie, animations, particle systems, or interactive UI.
• Background in gaming, iGaming, or other highly interactive consumer products.
• Experience building automated asset pipelines, design systems, or reusable component libraries.
