About the Job

Travel Help is looking for a motivated Software Engineering Intern – AI/ML to join our engineering team and contribute to building AI-powered products and intelligent solutions for the travel industry.
This internship is designed for students who want hands-on experience working with real-world software, AI, and machine learning applications in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and maintain software applications and backend services using Node.js.
Work on AI and machine learning features integrated into real-world applications.
Assist in designing, developing, and testing scalable software solutions.
Work with APIs, databases, and cloud-based technologies.
Collaborate with engineers and product teams to build and improve Travel Help's products.
Research and experiment with emerging AI/ML technologies and tools.
Troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and contribute to improving engineering quality.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from development and testing to deployment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
Hands-on experience with Node.js.
Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with APIs, databases, Git, and software development practices.
Ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building projects using Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Exposure to AI/ML frameworks, APIs, or LLM-based applications.
Experience working with REST APIs and cloud platforms.
Previous software engineering, AI/ML, or personal project experience.
Strong interest in building practical AI-powered products.
