Music Distribution - Full Stack PHP Developer

We’re looking for a Laravel-proficient developer to help lead our development team and help shape the future of music tech.

At IndieMassive, you’ll play a core role in designing and delivering tools that impact artists worldwide. This is a chance to be a key player in a fast-scaling company that’s shaking up the music industry.

You’ll be working closely with platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, and YouTube, as well as independent artists and record labels who are rewriting the rules of the game.

We are IndieMassive, a music distribution and tech company based in Groningen, Netherlands. We’re part of the Actuation Group, a collective of self-funded, indie music companies that includes platinum-selling record labels and the industry’s market-leading music promotion company.

Clients we serve include Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, and Pooh Shiesty, and our founders were recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30, Class of 2025.

Our 30+ person team works out of our sunny office on the Vismarkt in central Groningen. We’re a creative, collaborative crew with a shared passion for building products that empower artists.

We build software that allows:

• Seamless delivery of music to all major DSPs

• Robust metadata management

• Ingestion of royalty data from platforms

• Transparent, timely royalty payouts to artists.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define technical solutions

• Write and maintain clean, scalable PHP Laravel code

• Review code and ensure high development standards

• Guide technical decisions and drive development best practices

• Have ownership over features from conception to deployment

• Help define the product roadmap with real input and autonomy
