Position Summary
This is a Lead Network Administrator position at the Regional Simulation Capability, National Simulation Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.
What You�ll Do
- Identify and quickly troubleshoot problems on federate systems (co-located and at remote sites), RTI infrastructure software, client system software and networking
- Advise government representatives on technical recommendations and timelines with regards to Network requirements to support JLLCTC and Next Gen Constructive
- This position may require travel not to exceed 25%
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor�s degree (Network Mgmt. or a related field)
- 5 yrs. recent network engineering or similar experience may be substituted for degree
- 2 yrs. experience in network architecture design and implementation
- 2 yrs. experience troubleshooting and maintaining server platforms and network devices, to include firewall configuration.
- Possess advanced planning, troubleshooting and maintenance skills on MS server platform, switch and firewall configuration; strong understanding of technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies.
- United States citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
- DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II (Security+ / OS Cert)
