About the role
Babel Intelligence is hiring a Software Developer to help build reliable, user-focused products from the ground up. You’ll work closely with product and design, ship quickly, and improve the systems our customers rely on.
What you’ll do
• Design, build, test, and maintain product features across the stack
• Collaborate with product, design, and customers to turn needs into practical solutions
• Write clear, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and developer tooling
• Help shape technical decisions and engineering practices as the team grows
What we’re looking for
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong fundamentals in web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language
• Product-minded, pragmatic, and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup
• Clear communication and strong ownership from idea through launch
Nice to have
• Experience with AI-enabled products, data pipelines, or B2B SaaS
• Early-stage startup experience
