What you will do:

• Ship features end to end, covering API integration, local persistence, offline behaviour, and state management.
• Own releases through Play Console and App Store Connect, including staged rollouts and post-release monitoring.
• Build and maintain the app architecture.
• Handle platform-specific work such as permissions, background execution, push notifications, and deep links.
• Investigate crashes, ANRs, and performance regressions on real devices.
• Write unit and UI tests, and review code, including code generated with AI.

What we’re looking for:

• 1–3 years of experience building and shipping production mobile apps, with releases you owned end to end, including signing, Play Console / App Store Connect submission, and staged rollout.
• Strong Kotlin (and/or Swift) experience with coroutines and Flow (or async/await), plus a modern UI toolkit such as Jetpack Compose and/or SwiftUI.
• Hands-on experience with the data layer, including REST/GraphQL via Retrofit/Ktor/URLSession, caching, and offline behaviour.
• Experience with Profiler/Instruments and Crashlytics to detect crashes, ANRs, memory, and startup performance issues.
• Working fluency with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot), with the judgment to review, test, and correct generated code before it ships.
