About the job
This role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations, accounting, reporting, compliance, audit, tax, and financial infrastructure of the US operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of day-to-day finance and accounting activities for the company's US operations;
- Oversee and coordinate general ledger accounting, accounts payable, expense management, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and month-end and year-end close activities;
- Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and properly supported in accordance with US GAAP and Company policies;
- Review vendor invoices, payment requests, employee reimbursements, contracts, and other financial documentation to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and internal controls;
- Coordinate cash management, banking activities, payment processes, and short-term cash forecasting ;
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and provide accurate and timely financial information to management;
- Work closely on group consolidation, intercompany reconciliation, financial reporting, and management reporting;
- Support the development of accounting, reporting, and internal-control infrastructure required internally;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field;
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant accounting, audit, finance, or controllership experience; exceptional candidates with different levels of experience will also be considered;
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US accounting practices;
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting close processes, reconciliations, and financial controls;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment;
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills'
- Authorized to work in the United States.
