- Role Description The Graphics Designer role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Port Washington NY.
We are looking for a creative, production-minded mid-level Graphic Designer to visualize concepts for digital and print communications for InteleTravel and its family of brands.
The role is production-heavy and will support our wide-array of both B2B and B2C marketing collateral. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing and producing high-quality creative assets for websites, emails, social media, marketing materials, events, trade shows and other channels.
As the largest host travel agency in the country, InteleTravel’s content needs are expansive. Our company’s marketing team serves both Travel Advisors and their clients, therefore, the ability to switch between “voices” is necessary (i.e. B2B vs B2C, educational vs promotional, and so on).
This is a newly-created position within our growing team, and an exceptionally successful Graphic Designer will:
· Work collaboratively with the marketing department staff taking creative direction from VP Marketing and AVP Marketing, as well as marketing coordinators and events team.
· Transform conceptual ideas into visual communications that attract and engage audiences and influence behavior.
· Design and prepare creative artwork within the Adobe creative suite for a variety of media including: emails, websites, landing pages, digital banners, infographics, social media, video, event signage and other marketing materials as needed.
· Repurpose, edit, and refresh content as needed while maintaining organized asset catalog for future use.
· Utilize stock, templates and promotional content from supplier sites and travel agent portals to support concepts and maximize production efficiency.
· Maintain visual brand integrity of each initiative by respecting the core elements of various design systems and improving and extending upon those core elements when directed.
· Prepare and present well-structured drafts using Adobe design programs, while staying up to date with emerging design tools and software.
· Collaborate with internal and external teams to establish campaign objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
· Collaborate on creative production best practices to target and engage audiences, and further project objectives.
· Suggest new design ideas to engage audiences, report on new design trends and tools and utilize Ai to optimize turnaround times from concept to delivery.
· Welcome and accept productive feedback both creatively and organizationally.
You’ll Need:
· Degree in graphic design, production design, or similar field experience.
· Proven work experience as a graphic designer, production designer, digital designer advertising creative or similar.
· Samples of your BEST work (portfolio, links, etc.)
· Experience creating professional high-quality and engaging multi-channel communications for a variety of products and services. Toursim, Travel and Hospitality industry a plus.
· Seasoned typography, page layout, graphic design, and production skills. Video editing, html and presentation experience a BIG plus.
· The capacity to work swiftly, effectively, collaboratively, and independently without sacrificing quality of work.
· Excellent communication skills, visual problem-solving and time management skills
· Capable of managing multiple projects at once and delivering quick assets when needed.
Tech Requirements:
Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Express, Indesign, Acrobat Pro. Presentation, animation and light video editing a plus – Slides, Powerpoint, Canva, Capcut. Must be able to design for large format signage and scale for output. Must be intermediate to advanced in software usage. Ability to utilize Ai tools to increase efficiency is a plus.
