Job Description
The Sr. Data Engineer will contribute to the Company s success by partnering with business, analytics and infrastructure teams to design and build data pipelines to facilitate measuring various KPIs & metrics. Collaborating across disciplines, they will identify internal / external data sources, design data models, define ETL strategy & implement automated Data Quality checks.
Roles & Responsibilities
- 7+ years of relevant data engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles, including dimensional modeling and data normalization principles.
- Expert SQL skills and ability to create queries to analyze complex datasets
- Good experience with Snowflake and able to conduct advanced performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Hands-on production experience with data pipeline orchestration systems such as Airflow for creating and maintaining data pipelines
- Strong communication skills written and verbal presentations.
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to leverage AI to improve efficiency.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum principles and ceremonies.
