Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and related Azure Data Services.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric Workspaces, OneLake, Data Factory Pipelines, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics, Power BI, Synapse Data Warehouse, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, API/APIM.
• Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
• Experience in production support, service reliability, and operational monitoring of Azure data platforms.
• Should have strong communication skills to interact with all project stakeholders and collaborate across multiple tracks.

Technical / Support Responsibilities

• 12+ years of experience in software development, technical operations, or production support in Azure technologies.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and related Azure Data Services.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric Workspaces, OneLake, Data Factory Pipelines, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics, Power BI, Synapse Data Warehouse, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, and API/APIM.
• Experience with SQL/T-SQL and data modelling concepts.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience in monitoring, observability, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance tuning of Microsoft Fabric, and Azure data platforms.
• Experience configuring and managing alerts, dashboards, telemetry, and health monitoring using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, Splunk, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of application, infrastructure, and data pipeline monitoring, including availability, latency, failures, capacity utilization, and data freshness.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Knowledge Management.
• Experience working with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, JIRA Service Management, or equivalent ticketing systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and source control tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in leading technical triage calls involving cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to address complex cross-functional production issues.
• Flexible and resourceful in managing changing operational priorities and business-critical situations.
• Experience handling production escalations with complete ownership through technical and logical resolution.
• Partner with business and engineering stakeholders to improve service availability, scalability, performance, reliability, and operational excellence.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Python, Spark, or PySpark.
• Experience with Event Hub, Azure Application Insights, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Managed Grafana.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Azure Event Hub.
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and proactive incident prevention.
• Experience with automation using PowerShell, Azure Functions, or Python.
