Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Associate Backend Developer at RecordBook, you will be responsible for the backend development process, ensuring the stability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems. This role is critical to our mission of providing top-notch digital record management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development:

• Architect, design, and implement backend services and APIs.
• Oversee the development and deployment of new features and functionalities.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the backend infrastructure.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with the frontend team, product managers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.

System Optimization:

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
• Implement robust data storage solutions and optimize database performance.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data through appropriate security measures.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Drive continuous improvement in code quality, development processes, and product features.
• Advocate for best practices in software development, including TDD, CI/CD, and DevOps.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Graduates from top-tier institutions preferred.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proven experience in leading backend teams and projects.
• Strong proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in RESTful API design and development.
• Extensive experience with databases (MongoDB) and caching strategies.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
