Role Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, and operate AWS infrastructure for production SaaS workloads
• Own EKS clusters, node groups, ingress, networking, and scaling strategies
• Manage AWS services, including: VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch, KMS, Secrets Manager
• Implement secure networking and isolation for multi-tenant workloads
• Engineer, deploy, and maintain cloud services (AWS), including identity, networking, compute, and automation platforms.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/OpenTofu(equivalent) for repeatable and auditable deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/GitHub to support platform automation and service delivery.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging standards for platform services using native and third-party observability tools.
• Contribute to platform blueprints, documentation, and knowledge sharing to ensure consistent patterns and standards across teams.
• Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, incident response, and service improvement efforts for platform-related components.
• Support ISO 27001 customer security audits.
• Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and alerts
• Implement: Network segmentation, Firewall rules and Least-privilege IAM policies
• Observability & Operations: Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting across AWS, Kubernetes, improve platform reliability and performance, Support production deployments and rollbacks
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Solid Linux system administration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud / Platform / Infrastructure Engineering
• 5+ years of work experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Terraform (or OpenTofu equivalent) for IaC
• Kubernetes fundamentals (deployments, services, networking)
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
• Good communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring teams
Desired/Preferred Skills:
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer)
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
• Ansible for configuration management (preferred)
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Prior work in security-sensitive or regulated systems
