Fullstack Engineer

ElasticDash runs open source inside the customer's own cloud account: Langfuse,
n8n, Airflow, Dagster, ClickHouse, PostHog, plus self-hosted vLLM on their own
GPUs. One click lands it in their AWS, Azure or GCP with HA, backups, audit
logging and SSO already on. We carry every upgrade, CVE and 4am page after that.
Our customers are banks and world-leading SaaS companies. Enterprise only. The
team is small enough that accounts like those are yours in the first month.

Role Description: The Fullstack Engineer role is a full-time position based in
San Francisco, in person strongly preferred. In this role, you are a core part
of the founding team, which means owning product and engineering decisions,
shipping new products and features, talking to customers, and deciding what to
do next. You build deployment agents that understand a customer's environment
well enough to stand up a stack that actually holds in it, not one that merely
looks right on paper, and the multi-cloud architecture that scales those
deployments across AWS, Azure and GCP, each with their own nuances. You work on
self-improving operations, teaching an agent to read its own incident and
upgrade history and get better at the next deployment. You also touch everything
else a founding engineer touches: the app itself, the pipelines behind it, and
the internal harnesses that make a small team move like twenty.

The stack is TypeScript everywhere, with a Node.js API server and MCP server on
Express + Prisma + Postgres, Next.js / React + Tailwind on the frontend, and the
Claude Agent SDK with Trigger.dev for the agent layer. The space is moving fast
and so are we, so you should be comfortable trying lots of things with uncertain
outcomes and failing fast. Exceptional candidates will be considered for
founding-level equity.

• Strong technical background. You can go deep anywhere in the stack and you're fast.
• You've built and launched something real that people actually used. Company, side project, open source. We care that it shipped and that it got traction, not what it was attached to.
• You know how to design and architect AI agents. You've built agentic systems, hit their failure modes, and have opinions about what works.
• Strong at agentic engineering. Your own output is visibly agent-leveraged. This is how our whole company operates, so we especially value people who understand the intuitions behind agentic engineering well.
• Strong product and design sense. You can think clearly about what to build and why / why not. Strong design sense and taste is also highly valued.
• You want the 0 → 1. Early-stage operator energy: deep in the weeds, high tolerance for ambiguity, iterating fast with customers in the loop.
• Nice to have but not required: TypeScript / Next.js fluency, Kubernetes or Terraform exposure, and having been early at a startup before.
• Ability to work in person in San Francisco. Only exceptional candidates will be considered for remote positions.
