City Ambassador

One Thousand Club is a members’ club built to replace status and amenities with human connection. We launched nearly three years ago and now bring together more than 650 members across Lisbon, Barcelona and Madrid. As we grow across Europe and expand into new cities in 2027, we are building deeper local communities and more intentional programming.

Each OTC city will have two City Ambassadors. Together, they support hosts, connect members and bring in the right people and keep their city’s programming fresh. One Ambassador leads growth. The other leads curation. Together, they make OTC feel alive, connected and distinctly local.

The Role

As a City Ambassador, you are the local heartbeat of One Thousand Club. You will work with OTC’s home office team and local hosts to grow membership, strengthen relationships and create gatherings people want to return to. This is a P&L role, where you own the responsibility and bonus from growing a city’s member base.

Growth Ambassador

The Growth Ambassador is the natural gatherer: someone who knows great people and brings them together. This is a perfect fit for you if you read this as someone who is already highly networked, love your city, always connecting others and thinks “I could probably launch my own social club.”

You will:

• Organize & Host Welcome Dinners to invite guests into becoming lasting members.
• Conduct New Member Interviews to connect with and evaluate prospects’ potential fit in the OTC community.
• Achieve targets around new member growth for your locale
• Build relationships with aligned local communities, businesses and partners
• Build relationships with aligned local communities, businesses and partners
• Help grow attendance, participation and word-of-mouth in your city
• Share local feedback, opportunities and ideas with the OTC team

Experience Ambassador

The Curation Ambassador makes the members feel special.

You will:

• Organize & Host Welcome Dinners to invite guests into becoming lasting members.
• Conduct New Member Interviews to connect with and evaluate prospects’ potential fit in the OTC community.
• Achieve targets around member retention for your locale
• Produce a monthly and high-polish curated list of local recommendations to support new membership
• Support hosts in planning and producing elevated, intentional events
• Help shape a programming calendar that feels fresh, local and varied
• Source thoughtful venues, collaborators and event ideas
• Ensure the city reflects the warmth, taste and standards of One Thousand Club

What We’re Looking For

You are deeply embedded in your city, naturally bring people together and care about making others feel seen + valued.

You are a leader and a caregiver. You have strong taste, good judgment and want to build a community with real purpose.

• 5–10 years of hospitality, finance, sales or related experience
• Highly connected to community, businesses and resources in your city
• AI-native personally and professionally
• Light experience producing high-polish events
• A natural leader and caregiver
• Excited by building purposeful community
• Warm, proactive and highly reliable
• Comfortable representing OTC locally
• Able to work closely with hosts, members and the central team

What Success Looks Like

Initial targets designed and hit, regular event minimum occurring, local membership growing and OTC presence thriving.

Compensation

This is a part-time role with a monthly base along with monthly and quarterly bonuses for new member and retention targets. Specifics about compensation will be shared during the interview process.
