Senior .NET Engineer

This is a on-site position. Will need to work 5 days a week in offices located in Pittsburgh, PA.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack .NET Developer
• Previous experience working in the banking, fintech, or financial services industry is required
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET / .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Blazor
• Solid experience with SQL Server and database design
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration
• Understanding of secure coding practices and data protection in financial applications
• Experience with version control systems (Git)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable)
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOX, AML/KYC, GDPR)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab)
• Understanding of core banking systems, payment processing, or digital banking platforms
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications using .NET / .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (Angular, React, or Blazor)
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for banking and financial applications
• Design and optimize relational databases (SQL Server), writing efficient queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate banking requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR, AML/KYC)
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance in production environments
• Integrate with third-party banking systems, payment gateways, and core banking platforms
• Document technical designs, workflows, and processes
