The role

We are seeking a Frontend Developer Intern (React / TypeScript) to join our team.

You'll design and build the web frontend that supports our industrial AR product. Most of your day-to-day will be working with our backend developer and designer — turning Figma designs into clean React/TypeScript views and wiring them up to backend APIs. You'll also work with our XR / Unity developer and our iOS team to make sure the web frontend connects properly to the AR experiences running on devices in the field.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain web frontends in React and TypeScript
• Integrate REST APIs and real-time data into the UI
• Implement Figma designs into clean, structured, maintainable views
• Collaborate daily with our backend developer and designer to ship features end-to-end
• Work with our XR / Unity developer and iOS team so the web frontend integrates cleanly with the on-device AR experiences
• Participate in code reviews — both giving and receiving feedback
• Test and iterate on features in pilot deployments with real users

What we're looking for

• Strong experience with React
• Proficiency with TypeScript
• Comfortable consuming and integrating REST APIs
• Able to translate Figma designs into structured, well-organised code
• Solid Git workflow (GitHub, Bitbucket) in a team setting
• Clear communication, with both technical and non-technical people
• Self-direction — able to scope your own work and move from problem to solution
• Open to picking up new tools and ways of working

Nice to have

• Experience with React Native
• Familiarity with LiveKit or other real-time communication patterns
• Exposure to AR/XR concepts or the Unity ecosystem
• AWS, CI/CD pipelines, or other deployment workflow experience
• We value people who can work across both design and implementation and take ownership of what they build.

This role involves contributing directly to implementation, not just concept work.
