Senior Backend Developer

Overview
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, maintain, and improve the backend systems that power our mobile and web applications. The role focuses on building secure and scalable APIs, managing databases, integrating third-party services, and ensuring strong system performance and reliability. You will collaborate closely with mobile and frontend developers to support seamless application functionality.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend systems and services.
Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
Design, manage, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
Integrate backend systems with third-party platforms, cloud services, and external APIs.
Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data-handling practices.
Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot and resolve backend bugs, performance issues, and system failures.
Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure system reliability.
Optimize backend services for speed, security, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with mobile, frontend, UI/UX, and product teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle, from planning through deployment and maintenance.
Manage backend deployments, updates, version control, and technical documentation.
Monitor system performance and continuously improve existing backend services.
Evaluate and implement suitable technologies, frameworks, and development practices.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
5–8 years of professional experience in backend or server-side development.
Strong proficiency in at least one backend technology, such as Node.js, PHP/Laravel, Python/Django, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET.
Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services.
Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
Experience with cloud services, third-party integrations, and scalable system architecture.
Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, data security, and secure coding practices.
Experience with Git, version control, software testing, debugging, and modern development practices.
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and system monitoring is preferred.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
