The role

We are hiring an Assistant Project Manager to own defined workstreams within AI, software and infrastructure projects. You will turn requirements into practical delivery plans, coordinate technical and client stakeholders, manage risks and dependencies, and help take projects from kickoff through acceptance and handover.

Fresh graduates and candidates moving into the technology industry are welcome. Appointment and salary will reflect demonstrated capability.

What you will do

• Build and maintain delivery plans, milestones, dependencies and action owners
• Gather and clarify requirements with clients and technical teams
• Coordinate engineers, vendors and stakeholders across project workstreams
• Track scope, schedule, risks, issues, budgets and change requests
• Lead regular status meetings and prepare clear management reporting
• Coordinate testing, user acceptance, rollout, acceptance and handover
• Escalate delivery risks early and propose practical recovery actions
• Support and guide Project Executives on documentation and follow-up

What we are looking for

• Fresh graduates and candidates new to the technology industry are welcome
• Evidence of owning a project, workstream or substantial deliverable through employment, internships, academic work, volunteering, freelance work, hackathons or personal projects
• Practical experience using one or more AI tools such as Claude, Codex, Grok, Gemini, Kimi, GLM, Qwen, DeepSeek or comparable models
• Ability to select an appropriate AI tool, structure the work, verify outputs and recognise privacy, accuracy and escalation limits
• Strong stakeholder, vendor and client-communication skills
• Fluent written and spoken Cantonese and English
• Sound judgement, organisation and attention to detail
• Comfortable working closely with software and infrastructure teams

Nice to have

• Experience with AI, software, infrastructure or digital-transformation projects
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, Notion or Microsoft Project
• Experience with UAT, change control, procurement or vendor management
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum or other relevant project training

Location and package

Full-time Hong Kong role, mainly working from home with occasional visits to client offices across Hong Kong. Candidates must be Hong Kong-based and able to travel locally when required. Two vacancies. HK$24,000-HK$40,000 per month, depending on demonstrated capability and experience. Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00.
