Cross-Border Transaction Manager

Paycre is building the coordination layer for high-value cross-border transactions, initially focused on European real estate.

We coordinate the parties, conditions, documentation and regulated payment infrastructure required to move a transaction from agreement to completion.

Paycre already has an active pipeline of buyer and seller opportunities, and a network of collaborating lawyers across Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece.

We are now focused on turning this transaction flow into a repeatable execution model.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Cross-Border Transaction Manager who can take qualified property transactions and drive them through to completion.

This is not a traditional sales or business development role.

You will be responsible for coordinating the transaction after an opportunity has been identified and making sure that the required parties, documents, conditions, funding and settlement steps move forward.

Your objective is to turn qualified opportunities into completed transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of qualified cross-border property transactions from initiation through completion
• Coordinate buyers, sellers, lawyers, notaries, agents, payment providers and other transaction parties
• Establish and monitor transaction milestones and conditions
• Coordinate documentation and verification requirements
• Track funding, deposits and payment-related requirements with regulated partners
• Identify delays, missing information and transaction risks before they become problems
• Maintain clear communication between all parties
• Escalate legal, compliance or payment issues to the appropriate Paycre team member or partner
• Keep transaction records and status information accurate and up to date
• Help develop repeatable processes for handling multiple transactions simultaneously
• Identify improvements that make cross-border transactions faster, safer and easier to coordinate

The Type of Person We Are Looking For

You have practical experience getting complex transactions completed.

Your background could include:

• International real estate transactions
• Escrow or settlement
• Real estate closing
• Private banking
• Transaction management
• Property investment
• Cross-border payments
• Legal transaction coordination
• High-value B2B transactions

What matters is that you understand how a high-value transaction actually gets from agreement to settlement.

Required Experience

• Experience coordinating high-value or complex transactions
• Experience working with multiple professional counterparties
• Understanding of property transactions, escrow, settlement or cross-border payments
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to take ownership rather than simply pass information between parties
• Comfortable working across different jurisdictions and professional environments
• Commercial and practical mindset
• Ability to work independently in an early-stage company

A strong candidate will be able to

• What has been agreed?
• What is still missing?
• Who needs to do what?
• What condition needs to be satisfied?
• Where is the money?
• What could prevent completion?
• What needs to happen next?

Your Environment at Paycre

You will work directly with a small team currently covering:

• Operations & Business
• Partnerships & Transactions
• Legal & Compliance

You will also work with Paycre's network of approximately 60 collaborating lawyers and external transaction partners.

The role therefore requires someone who is comfortable operating at the centre of a transaction without needing a large corporate structure around them.

What makes this role different

Paycre is not looking for someone to build a theoretical transaction model.

The transaction model is already being used.

We have active buyer and seller deal flow and completed transactions.

The next challenge is to increase the number of transactions that successfully move through the system while making the process increasingly repeatable.

You will be part of building that execution engine.

Compensation

This is an early-stage, performance-oriented role.

The structure may include:

• Transaction-based compensation
• Performance incentives
• Revenue share
• Long-term equity participation for the right candidate

The exact structure will depend on experience and level of involvement.

Location

Remote within Europe.

Experience with European cross-border property transactions is strongly preferred.
