About the job

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN
WorldChangers | Remote | Unpaid | Flexible Hours

About WorldChangers
WorldChangers is the first BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) startup accelerator in the US.

The Role
As a Graphic Design Intern at WorldChangers, you own how we look. Thumbnails, logos, and covers for posts and videos — you decide the visual system, build it, and keep it consistent as we publish.

We do not want someone who waits for a brief and then colors inside the lines. We want someone who will tell us what the brand should look like, then ship it.

What you will do

Design thumbnails for LinkedIn posts, YouTube videos, and other channels
Create logos, wordmarks, and simple brand assets for WorldChangers and campaign use
Design covers for blog essays, podcast episodes, and social posts
Build a visual system we can reuse — type, color, layout, and templates — so every piece still looks like us
Work with the marketing intern and founder to turn rough ideas into finished graphics, fast
Adapt designs across formats: square, landscape, story, thumbnail, and cover
What you will NOT do

Recycle generic startup-template aesthetics
Wait for a pixel-perfect brief before starting
Deliver one option and disappear
Treat every post as a one-off with no visual through-line
Who We Are Looking For

Preferred background:

A portfolio of real work — thumbnails, covers, logos, posters, anything people have actually seen
Experience designing for social or video (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, or similar)
Comfort working in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent
Strong visual taste and clean execution, not just software skill
Must have:

An eye for what makes a thumbnail or cover worth stopping for
Ability to work autonomously and make design decisions without constant guidance
Comfort taking feedback, iterating quickly, and shipping on a content calendar
Genuine interest in startups, venture capital, and the tech ecosystem
Nice to have:

Motion or simple animation for video intros, outros, or social cuts
Experience designing for deep-tech, B2B, or science-heavy brands
Basic video-frame / thumbnail composition sense (faces, contrast, readable type at small size)
Existing work in a dark, high-contrast, or editorial visual style
What You Get

Recommendation letter upon successful completion, written specifically around your contributions and growth
Access to our founder and investor network — every piece you design is work that sits in front of that network
Office hours with the founder — direct time to discuss your own creative projects, startup ideas, or career path
Real ownership — you will have built the WorldChangers visual identity in its early form
Portfolio of real work — thumbnails, logos, and covers shipped for a live BCI accelerator, not mock assignments
