Summary

The Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer is responsible for analyzing complex business requirements, designing and implementing software solutions, and providing technical support for system enhancements and maintenance. They work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct system analysis, and develop detailed technical specifications. They also write and debug code, perform system testing, and ensure the successful implementation of software applications. Additionally, they provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and efficiency. The Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer plays a critical role in driving business process improvements and ensuring the smooth operation of technology systems.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develops system requirements and system design with users.
  • Develops system requirements and specifies design considerations with software vendors.
  • Acts as liaison for assigned systems in order to assist users with system problems and questions.
  • Designs, codes, implements, documents, and maintains complex on-line applications systems.
  • Participates with the development of project plans. Executes project plans and recommends actions when necessary.

Education, Experience And Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or related area, or equivalent required.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Four (4) years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud, including Oracle Cloud Payroll and core modules such as Core HR, Talent Management, or Learning.
  • Bachelors Degree may be substituted by two (2) additional years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources and Payroll processes.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
