We are seeking an experienced Global Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and growth of our Gas Chromatography (GC)-related product and consumable portfolio within the Analytical Consumables Group.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially minded scientific leader who can translate customer insight, market intelligence, and technical expertise into product strategy, innovation, and measurable business growth.
You will serve as the strategic champion for the GC portfolio, partnering globally across R&D, Commercial, Marketing, Business Development, and senior leadership.
What You Will Do
- Define and execute the long-term global strategy and vision for the GC portfolio, aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and prioritize product roadmaps, including new product development, enhancements, lifecycle management, and rationalization.
- Drive global pricing, competitive analysis, and margin optimization.
- Champion the voice of the customer through market research, customer feedback, KOL engagement, and market intelligence.
- Analyze market trends, product performance, market share, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and inform portfolio strategy.
- Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.
- Partner with the Chief Scientific Officer to identify and qualify new technologies and opportunities for portfolio growth.
- Collaborate with the global Commercial teams to translate portfolio strategy into effective sales strategies and market execution.
- Partner with Marketing Communications to develop global campaigns, digital content, events, and sales collateral.
- Develop sales enablement tools, including battle cards, pitch decks, application materials, and objection-handling guides.
- Build relationships with key customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to generate customer evidence, including case studies, testimonials, and application notes.
- Lead global product launches, coordinating cross-functionally to deliver on time and against defined KPIs.
- Develop customer segmentation, buyer personas, and journey maps to strengthen positioning and channel strategy.
- Track and communicate product marketing metrics, including pipeline contribution, launch performance, content utilization, and portfolio growth.
- Partner closely with the Senior VP of Analytical Consumables to execute the overall portfolio strategy.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Analytical Science, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in the Gas Chromatography marketplace, with extensive knowledge of GC technologies, applications, customers, and competitors.
- Strong understanding of technical and application challenges within the GC market.
- Broad knowledge of GC applications across industries such as pharmaceutical, metabolomics, environmental, chemical, fragrance, and food.
- Proven experience in product management and/or product marketing within a technical, scientific, analytical, or life sciences environment.
- Demonstrated success developing go-to-market strategies, product positioning, product launches, and customer-facing content.
- Experience with pricing, competitive analysis, portfolio optimization, and margin improvement.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate strategy into execution.
- Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with scientists, customers, KOLs, commercial teams, and senior leadership.
- A strategic thinker and hands-on problem solver who is comfortable moving between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution.
