ABOUT BOOST
Boost Payment Solutions optimizes the use and acceptance of commercial cards through a suite of proprietary, technology-enabled solutions. As the only fintech acquirer focused exclusively on the B2B market, Boost makes commercial cards a cost-effective, scalable, and secure alternative to traditional payment methods. Boost partners with all three major card networks (Mastercard, Visa, and American Express) and processes payments for 60 of the Fortune 100. Headquartered in New York City, Boost operates with a global footprint.
The Client Management team owns the full client lifecycle, from onboarding through ongoing servicing. As a Client Solutions Analyst, you sit within Client Management and work closely with the Onboarding function.
Job Summary
The Client Solutions Analyst is an analytical, client-facing role on the Client Management team. You will own a high volume of inbound client issues, triaging and categorizing them, digging into root causes, and resolving them against clear service targets while keeping Boost and partner systems accurate. The work is fast-moving, measured, and goal-driven, with shifting priorities and real deadlines.
This is a role for a sharp, dependable operator who can juggle multiple workstreams, step in to cover the team during absences, and look for ways to make the process better rather than just work the queue. You will partner across Operations, Sales, Compliance, Product, and Technology, giving you a end-to-end view of how a fintech runs.
What You’ll Do
- Own inbound client issues: triage, categorize, and prioritize a high volume of requests, then resolve them across payments, funding, remittance data, account setup, and platform usage.
- Investigate root causes using internal systems and data analytics tools for troubleshooting, and document inquiries and resolutions in Salesforce.
- Identify recurring issues and trends, and drive process or system improvements, measured against clear outcomes.
- Establish, document, and refine operational processes with a focus on continuous improvement and cross-training, so the team can cover for one another seamlessly.
- Provide coverage for teammates during vacations and peak periods without dropping service quality.
- Escalate and coordinate more complex issues across Operations, Sales, Technology, Compliance, and Product.
- Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries via email, phone, and internal case channels.
What We’re Looking For
- You have 2–4 years of professional experience in an analytical, operational, or client-facing role. Customer service is not required; customer facing experience is welcome.
- You break down ambiguous problems, dig into the data, and get to the root cause.
- You stay dependable under pressure, multitasking and managing competing priorities.
- You communicate clearly and concisely, in writing and verbally.
- You are highly organized and detail-oriented in your documentation and follow-through.
- You are comfortable with CRM or ticketing systems (Salesforce preferred).
- You take initiative and thrive in a small, fast-paced company.
- You are a reliable, collaborative teammate others can delegate to with confidence.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree.
Nice to Have
- SQL or database experience.
- Familiarity with AI tools and agents to improve workflows.
- Exposure to payments, fintech, financial institutions, or AP/AR/Finance functions.
Why Join Boost
- Real ownership from day one. You will solve root causes, improve processes, and drive last solutions, not just close tickets.
- Meaningful opportunities for career advancement and the ability to move internally for those who consistently deliver high-quality results, take ownership, and demonstrate a commitment to growth.
- Broad cross-functional exposure to Sales, Operations, Onboarding, Compliance, Product, and Technology, giving you a firsthand understanding of how a fintech runs end to end.
- Marketable skills that compound: Salesforce, Excel, SQL, AI-driven workflows, and payments domain expertise.
- Small-company leverage: your work is visible to leadership, and strong performers shape their own scope.
- Direct access to senior leaders and mentorship.
Employee Benefits
- Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus eligibility.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k) retirement plan.
- Paid time off: 4 weeks to start, increasing to 5 weeks after 3 years. 5 paid safe/sick days, separate from PTO. 9 paid company holidays.
- Flexible Spending Account (FSA), pre-tax.
- Short-term and state disability coverage.
- Supplemental insurance (Aflac), pre-tax.
- Paid family leave (NY PFL) and paid prenatal leave. Bereavement leave.
- Pre-tax commuter benefits (transit and parking).
- Company-supported training and development, with clear paths for advancement.
- Hybrid work schedule (NYC office 3+ days per week).
Compensation
Pay Range: $70,000 - 85,000 per year plus a target $10,000 performance-based bonus. Actual compensation within the range will depend on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Hybrid Work Environment: This position is expected to work in our NYC office 3 days per week.
