Technical Cofounder for Rust/Tauri Desktop App

I am building a Mac OS/Windows AI meeting copilot app built on Tauri + Rust + React/TypeScript. The backend is Next.js hosted on Vercel, with Supabase for auth/database, and OpenAI for AI responses.

The product uses real-time audio processing and LLM inference to generate responses based on:

conversation context
users personal context info
optional screen analysis
A MacOS/Windows application has already been built using Rust + Tauri, and I am now looking for a technial cofounder to own engineering, help optimize performance, refine the architecture, and ship this product immediatley.

Why This Opportunity

As a founder I have previously worked on marketing and growth for various companies in the space and helped grow their social presence to 100K+ followers, millions of views across social media, and a four-figure MRR providing a strong distribution advantage.

The opportunity is still wide open for a product with:

faster response latency better contextual understanding a more intuitive user experience with unique features

About The Task: Currently the MVP can transcribe any question or statements made during meetings and provide real-time AI insights. The core functionality works, however we now need stabilization and performance hardening. The problem is that the app needs a few UI fixes as well as tweaks.

The core app is built and partially functional. I need an experienced Tauri/Rust developer to fix several critical bugs and get us to a production-ready launch ASAP.

What I'm looking for:

Strong Tauri and Rust experience — this is a must, not a nice to have
Experience with macOS desktop apps and OS-level APIs (audio, screen capture)
Familiarity with Tokio / async runtimes
Experience with audio streaming or WebRTC
Experience optimizing low-latency systems
Ability to debug complex pipelines and performance bottlenecks
Comfortable jumping into an existing codebase quickly
React/TypeScript familiarity for frontend fixes
Available for a focused sprint — this is urgent

Compensation: 20-30% Equity

Nice to have:

Experience with OpenAI Realtime API Prior work on AI-powered desktop apps** LLM / AI Prompt experience
