Financial Services Expert

This role is for U.S.-based financial services professionals who can create and provide specialized data across banking, lending, payments, wealth management, brokerage, and capital markets. Deliverables may include synthetic product records, transaction scenarios, credit cases, operational workflows, risk labels, compliance annotations, and research materials.

What you’ll do

• Create realistic financial-services datasets involving products, transactions, applications, customer journeys, operations, market activity, and risk controls.
• Label relevant product terms, workflow stages, risk factors, compliance considerations, outcomes, and supporting evidence.
• Validate the data for numerical accuracy, regulatory awareness, operational realism, and consistent use of industry terminology.
• Provide only synthetic, public, or properly authorized information and remove customer, account, transaction, or other regulated identifiers.

Required qualifications

• Currently based in the United States.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience or advanced training in banking, consumer or commercial lending, payments, wealth management, brokerage, asset management, or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of the products, terminology, operational workflows, and risk considerations in your area of specialization.
• Clear analytical writing and the ability to distinguish general information from regulated or individualized advice.

Preferred qualifications

• FINRA license, CFA, FRM, banking credential, or comparable professional qualification.
• Experience in compliance, risk, product, operations, research, or client-facing advisory functions.
• Familiarity with fintech products, model governance, or automated decision systems.

Compensation

$100/hour — Flexible contract projects. Location: United States (remote).
