About Aistetic
Aistetic is an Oxford University AI spinout building AI powered listing automation for fashion resale. Our product, ListingFlow, turns product photos into marketplace ready listings for platforms like eBay, Vinted, and Depop. We also offer ListingEngine, a B2B API for enterprise resale partners. We're alumni of Techstars and the eBay Future of Ecommerce Accelerator, and our core AI engine has already processed a large volume of items for paying customers who love the product.
Location: Remote
Overview:
Part-time (2 days/week) — own our support queue and ship the fixes behind it, part support, part product engineering, at an Oxford spinout building AI listing tools for fashion resale. Paid at up to £200/month.
About the role:
We're looking for a junior full stack engineer to sit close to our customers and our codebase at once. You'll own our daily support queue, but this isn't a support-only role — you'll ship real fixes and small production features based on what you see breaking, with enough backend familiarity to actually build the solution, not just describe it to someone else.
What you'll do:
Own the daily customer support queue (WhatsApp), triaging and resolving what you can
Get sharp on Vinted-specific failures, our highest-friction integration
Ship real fixes and small features off the back of what you see in support
Work with backend enough to understand and modify the systems behind the issues you're fixing
Technical Requirements:
Can read application logs and stack traces to diagnose an issue, and comfortable using browser dev tools (network tab) to inspect failed requests
Working knowledge of REST APIs
Can write and ship a small feature or bug fix independently — some backend experience (Python or Node/JavaScript) needed
Git basics: branching, committing, PR review process
Nice to have:
Exposure to marketplace/e-commerce APIs or undocumented third-party integrations
React Native or mobile-adjacent experience
Customer & Communication:
Strong communication skills, written and verbal, comfortable talking directly with customers
Positive, open, fast and responsive — this role is customer-facing first, technical second, in terms of how it's experienced day to day
Reliable, customer-centric and product-centric attitude — genuinely cares about the person on the other end, not just closing the ticket
Structure: 2 days/week, spread across the week. Paid up to £200/month, based on experience and scope. Clear path to more hours, feature ownership, and equity options as the role expands toward full-time.
