What you’ll own
You’ll own the quality of Interview Copilot’s user-facing experience: polished real-time interfaces, dependable desktop interactions, and clear workflows that help people stay focused during high-pressure conversations.
Key responsibilities
- Build and improve responsive product experiences with React and TypeScript.
- Create polished real-time states for streaming answers, audio, connectivity, and errors.
- Improve the Electron desktop experience across onboarding, overlays, navigation, and everyday workflows.
- Partner closely with product and design to turn ideas and feedback into simple, high-quality features.
- Raise the bar for accessibility, performance, testing, and maintainable frontend code.
Required skills
- Practical experience building and shipping modern frontend products.
- Strong React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals.
- Care for interaction details, usability, and reliable product behavior.
- Clear communication and comfort owning work in a distributed team.
Useful nice-to-haves
- Electron or another desktop application framework.
- Real-time interfaces, streaming products, audio, or WebSockets.
- Cross-platform desktop UX, accessibility, or frontend testing.
- Experience building AI-enabled products.
Remote work and employment
This is a full-time, remote-only role open to applicants worldwide. We work as a distributed team and value independent ownership, clear written communication, and thoughtful collaboration. Visa sponsorship and relocation are not available.
The annual salary range is $150,000–$230,000 USD, depending on location and experience, with 0.1%–0.5% equity available.
Hiring process
The process is fully remote: application review, an introductory video conversation, a role-focused video interview discussing relevant work and practical product decisions, and a final remote video conversation.
