What you’ll do…

As a Production Director at Maxima Apparel Corp, you will play a vital role in our mission to deliver high-quality products efficiently.

Managing a Team in China: Leading and managing a team based in China, which requires your presence in the New York office for early AM production calls.

Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from development to bulk production, ensuring seamless execution.

Global Communication: Engage with overseas teams, prioritizing workflows, managing urgent requests and deadlines, and overseeing development during sampling and production phases.

Workflow Management: Manage the time and action calendar, workflow, and processes within our diverse business verticals.

Sample Delivery: Take responsibility for delivering product samples on time, a crucial aspect of our commitment to quality.

PLM Maintenance: Be accountable for ensuring the accuracy of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system at all times.

Production Oversight: Track production processes daily, maintain data, and follow up on preproduction and production samples.

Data Analysis: Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports, leveraging your experience with data analysis.

Production Leadership: Actively plan, schedule, direct, and execute production activities, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing and design house.

Attention to Detail: Your keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential as you work effectively under pressure.

Multifaceted Contributions: Your role will encompass various duties as assigned, reflecting the dynamic nature of the position.

Multilingual Skills: Multilingual abilities in English, Spanish, and Mandarin are a definite advantage, enhancing your ability to connect and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Management of China Team: Managing a team based in China, which requires your presence in the New York office for early AM production calls.

Education and Experience

3-5 Years of Planning Experience: You should have a strong background with 3-5 years of experience in planning, demonstrating your expertise in managing complex processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Being proficient in Excel and all other Microsoft Office applications is essential, enabling you to efficiently manage data and generate reports.

PLM Knowledge: Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is crucial, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information management.

PowerBi Familiarity: Familiarity with PowerBi is a plus, allowing you to leverage data analysis tools for valuable insights.

Organizational and Communication Skills: Your role will require excellent organizational and communication skills, underpinned by meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precise execution of tasks and effective collaboration with team members.
