Impact you will make

The Principal Technical Owner will lead product development teams and will be responsible for management of software engineers and quality engineers within the scrum teams. The Technical Owner will also have overall responsibility for feature delivery of the development teams.

What you will do

  • Participate in and contribute to the development cycle, technical design, and architectural reviews
  • Champion significant technical change, productivity, and quality for assigned product and teams
  • Partner with product management to help shape the product roadmap and architecture
  • Ensure effectiveness of delivered software solutions to meet business needs
  • Create and review technical roadmaps for the product families, advocate technical priorities with business leaders, including performance, security and architecture
  • Manage and ensure compliance with SLAs for customer reported issues and defects
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members and manage performance process
  • Develop engineers in your organization to maintain proficiency and awareness of best practices
  • Collaborate with other departments (IT, support, etc.) to continuously improve the software development environment and practices
  • Participate in development of new processes and refinement of existing processes
  • Design, code and test along other technical leaders, to maintain technical proficiency and help prove and demonstrate future technical approaches and concepts

What you will bring

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise application and software development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Practical experience in Object Oriented Programming, distributed architecture, microservices, .net core and Angular.
  • A strong desire to code and remained involved in development activities
  • Expertise in software system design
  • Expertise in C#, Angulare and SQL
  • Strong Knowledge of Cloud development technologies
  • Experience with AI-centric development tooling and methodologies
  • Experience leading teams from project inception to software support in a production environment
  • Experience with application modernization. Architecture modernization from legacy monolithic application to distributed system design.
  • Hosting migration to a cloud provider.
  • Modernizing a data layerusing modern approaches such as streaming and data warehouse.
  • Experience running multiple concurrent software development teams and tracking productivity KPIs.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
