Technical Project Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development, technical leadership, and project management. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, preferably having progressed through roles such as Software Developer → Technical Lead → Project Manager.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, strong understanding of software development and delivery processes, and proven experience in team handling, project execution, stakeholder management, and customer interaction. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery while providing technical guidance to the team.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end delivery of software and technology projects from planning through implementation and closure.
• Lead and manage technical teams, ensuring effective allocation of tasks, resources, and responsibilities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams based on prior hands-on development experience.
• Work closely with developers, technical leads, business stakeholders, and customers to understand requirements and ensure successful delivery.
• Plan project timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and take corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage customer communication, project status updates, expectations, and escalations.
• Ensure projects follow defined development, testing, deployment, and quality processes.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure services and cloud technologies to support project architecture and delivery.
• Coordinate with technical teams on application development, integration, deployment, and production support activities.
• Conduct regular team meetings, project reviews, and performance discussions.
• Mentor team members and support their technical and professional development.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and drive them to resolution.
• Ensure effective communication between technical teams, management, and customers.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, resource utilization, and delivery quality.
• Serve as the primary technical and delivery point of contact for assigned projects.

Skills and Qualification
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software development, technical leadership, and project management.
• Proven career progression from Developer to Technical Lead/Lead and subsequently into Project Management.
• Strong hands-on understanding of software development life cycle and project delivery methodologies.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure SQL/Synapse and cloud-based application environments.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, development, integration, testing, and deployment processes.
• Proven experience in team handling and people management.
• Strong project planning, tracking, risk management, and delivery management skills.
• Excellent communication, customer management, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams is preferred.

Must Have

• Experience with automation-led data engineering solutions
• Proven experience in team handling and team leadership.
• Experience managing end-to-end project delivery, timelines, risks, and resources.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work from office and customer site.
