Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Our client is one of the world's largest investment management companies, managing close to $2 trillion in assets, headquartered in Southern California. As a Luxoft DXC Nasdaq Partner, we are engaged in a full-scale technology upgrade and are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the team at the client's offices in Irvine, CA.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with business teams, analysts, and architects to translate new requirements into technical solutions
• Work daily with developers, designers, and IT teams across the full delivery lifecycle
• Develop and present recommendations based on analysis of existing solutions
• Lead Java/JEE development to meet specifications and best practices
• Participate in design and code peer reviews, unit testing, and functional enhancements
• Identify refactoring opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
• Estimate effort, break down tasks, and identify implementation risks
• Produce clear technical design documents for both client-facing and internal audiences

Must have

Frontend

• 7+ years with Angular

Backend

• 7+ years with Java / JEE
• 7+ years with Spring / Web Services
• 7+ years with GitHub

Cloud & Infrastructure

• 7+ years with AWS EKS and related components (R53, EFS, S3, ECR, IAM, Lambda)
• 7+ years with Docker containerization
• 7+ years with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
