What is in it for you?

We are looking for a Data Engineering Lead with strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT, and Azure Data Factory (ADF). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing scalable data warehouse solutions on Azure cloud. This role requires deep technical expertise in SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and modern data engineering practices, along with the ability to lead and manage end-to-end data workflows.

Job Description

• Manage end-to-end data engineering activities including data requirements gathering, analysis, modeling, and issue resolution
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, DBT, and ADF
• Handle data standardization, migration, transformation, validation, and quality assurance across multi-database platforms
• Leverage ETL/ELT tools for data processing, integration, and publishing
• Maintain and optimize databases including data structures, sources, and performance tuning
• Identify complex data issues proactively and drive them to resolution, including trend analysis and data insights
• Manage complete data lifecycle — discovery, design, development, implementation, and support
• Define and enforce database policies, procedures, and standards
• Support production systems, troubleshoot defects, and coordinate with stakeholders and operations teams
• Contribute to all phases of the data and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Maintain version control using GitHub and ensure proper code management
• Support off-hours data processing and critical production needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with Snowflake (Columnar MPP Cloud Data Warehouse)
• Hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for transformation and version-controlled workflows
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and Shell Scripting
• Deep understanding of database design, optimization, and performance tuning
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or equivalent
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and version control (GitHub)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
