Product Manager – AI/FinTech Trading Platform

**About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to own the product strategy, roadmap and execution of an AI-powered Indian stock market advisory platform covering Equity, F&O and MCX.
You will work closely with the CTO, ML Engineers, Backend/Full-Stack Engineers, Compliance team and trading/market-domain experts to translate trader problems into scalable AI-driven products. The platform includes proactive AI signals, options intelligence, portfolio personalization, news sentiment, broker integrations, strategy backtesting and AI-powered trading insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product roadmap, prioritization and product lifecycle.
- Convert trader/user pain points into clear PRDs, user stories, workflows and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with engineering and ML teams to build AI/ML-powered product features.
- Drive products around:
- Real-time AI trading signals
- Options intelligence, OI, PCR, IV and Greeks
- Portfolio personalization and risk-based position sizing
- AI news & sentiment analysis
- Strategy Builder and Backtesting Lab
- Broker integrations and one-tap order workflows
- Web, mobile and browser-extension experiences.
- Conduct user research with active traders and investors and continuously prioritize features based on feedback.
- Define and track product KPIs including signal accuracy, user engagement, retention, conversion, NPS and paid subscriptions.
- Collaborate with ML teams on model outputs, feedback loops, signal quality and personalization.
- Coordinate with compliance/legal teams to ensure product workflows align with SEBI requirements, including consent, disclaimers, audit trails and risk profiling.
- Manage product launches, beta testing, experimentation and continuous iteration.
- Coordinate broker/API integrations including Zerodha, Upstox, Angel One and Fyers.
- Translate business objectives into measurable product outcomes and collaborate across teams to deliver against roadmap milestones. Required Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in FinTech, Stock Trading, Capital Markets, WealthTech or SaaS.
- Strong understanding of Indian stock markets, Equity, F&O and preferably MCX.
- Understanding of trading concepts such as technical indicators, options chain, OI, PCR, IV, Greeks, stop-loss, targets and position sizing.
- Experience working with AI/ML products, recommendation engines, LLMs or data-driven products.
- Strong understanding of APIs, product analytics and technology workflows.
- Ability to work effectively with ML Engineers, developers and technical leadership.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, Figma, Mixpanel/GA or equivalent is preferred. Good to Have
- Experience building AI-powered trading/investment products.
- Experience with broker APIs or trading platforms.
- Knowledge of SEBI regulations and financial-product compliance.
- Understanding of backtesting, quantitative strategies and signal-generation systems.
- Prior experience working with LLM-based applications, NLP or personalization engines.
