About the job

About us
We’re a fast-growing, venture-backed company building at the cutting edge of applied AI.
We’re building products that help sales teams perform better in real time. We move quickly, use AI-native approaches in everything we do, care deeply about product quality, and are looking for someone who wants to work closely with a small team shaping what gets built next.
About the role
We’re looking for a Technical QA Engineer to help us maintain and mprove product quality and release confidence across functionality, usability, and release readiness.
This is not a box-ticking QA role. We want someone who can thoroughly test features, spot issues that others miss, and write tickets so clearly that engineers and agents can act on them immediately. You’ll play an important role in helping us maintain a high quality bar as the product evolves.
Generative AI has made writing code no longer the barrier to producing great software - verifying what’s being shipped has become the barrier. We make extensive use of automated code generation with a fleet of agents building, verifying and checking code before release.
For our stage, we have a sophisticated E2E and testing pipeline with synthetic data, agent interaction simulation, automated E2E test generation, unit and integration tests above the 80% gold standard for test coverage.
You’d be slotting into a sophisticated, fast-moving team pushing the boundaries of what QA look like in a world where software is written by agents, and finding ways to address the problem of how to ensure quality in what gets released.
Non-negotiables
Please do not apply unless you meet the criteria below:
- You have at least 2 years of experience in software QA
- You have had 2 years of strong hands-on experience with Linear, Jira, or equivalent QA / issue tracking tools
- You have worked at a software or SaaS company
- You have experience working in a remote team
- You can offer significant overlap with UK business hours
- You are available for a minimum of 16 hours per week
Ways of working:
We think you’ll be a strong fit if you:
- Fluent, professional English with excellent written communication
- Have strong attention to detail
- Can write precise, unambiguous tickets others can act on immediately
- Can write skills in Claude to automate your work
- Can think holistically about where the expensive part of QA - manually checking things - can be supported or minimised through the use of AI
- Have good product judgment and UI/UX instincts
- Are comfortable reviewing full product flows, not just isolated bugs
- Work well independently without needing heavy oversight
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
If you want a relaxed role, this is probably not for you.
What you’ll do
- Test new features and releases end to end
- Identify bugs, regressions, usability issues, and rough edges
- Write clear, structured tickets for engineers and agents to pick up
- Re-test fixes and confirm issues are resolved
- Directly input into mapping out user journeys for E2E testing
- Help us maintain and improve a sophisticated QA process
Nice to have
Experience testing AI or LLM-powered products
Experience with B2B SaaS products
Experience working with fast-moving engineering teams and short release cycles
Reporting line
Reports directly to the CTO.
Contract structure
This role will start part-time and may expand to full-time if the engagement is successful.
