Kubernetes Platform Architect at BairesDev

As a Kubernetes Platform Architect, you will define enterprise-wide Kubernetes architecture and drive multi-cluster platform strategies. You will spearhead technical leadership and upstream contributions to ensure a robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native infrastructure across distributed systems.

What You'll Do:

• Design and govern enterprise-wide Kubernetes strategies across multi-cluster and multi-cloud environments.

• Define platform standards, multi-tenancy models, and governance frameworks to ensure infrastructure scalability.

• Lead upstream contributions to the CNCF ecosystem and drive the evolution of Kubernetes and Rancher (RKE) components.

• Architect core platform primitives including storage (CSI/Longhorn), networking (CNI), and cluster state (etcd).

• Drive cross-functional initiatives to implement advanced GitOps workflows and platform automation at scale.

What we are looking for:

• 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Software Engineering, or Platform Architecture.

• Proven expertise in designing enterprise-wide Kubernetes architectures and multi-cluster strategies.

• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, including etcd, CNI, CSI, and container runtimes like RKE.

• Hands-on experience with CNCF ecosystem contributions and upstream Kubernetes development.

• Strong proficiency in Go and systems programming for distributed infrastructure.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
