Technical Product Management Intern (Remote, US-Based)

Own a real product epic from requirements to production release.

Most PM internships have you shadowing meetings. In this one, you lead a small squad and own one epic at a time, making sure it's fully built, tested against spec, scoped for MVP, and ready to ship. If you like technical detail, catching what others miss, and seeing work through to done, this role is for you.

What you'll do

• Own an assigned epic from requirements review through QA, MVP scoping, staging, and production release
• Lead a small squad with a QA teammate and an AI-assisted full-stack engineer, working with the Project Manager, Scrum Master, design, and frontend teams as needed
• Review existing documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, data dictionaries) and verify the implementation matches it, filling gaps with engineers using our internal SOPs
• Validate that frontend and backend behavior match business rules, workflow logic, and expected behavior
• Partner with QA to make sure testing is complete against spec before anything ships
• Spot gaps, contradictions, missing states, and weak UX handling before they become production problems
• Help prioritize and define what makes the MVP cut
• Work with our client advisory board to gather product feedback, validate usability, and turn conversations into actionable product input, including helping onboard new advisory members

Required

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master's in Engineering Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Product Management, QA/Testing, or a related technical field
• Based in the US and authorized to work in the US
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English
• Solid understanding of technical requirements, APIs, data flow, and system behavior in full-stack products
• Experience working with user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable in Agile/Scrum teams

Nice to have

• Background in technical PM, QA or test engineering, business analysis, or systems analysis
• Experience with Jira, Linear, ClickUp, Figma, or similar tools
• Exposure to frontend QA, release workflows, or microservices architecture
• Experience with AI coding tools
• QA certification
