Akkodis is seeking Electrical Engineer job with a client in Rochester NY. Must hold Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering to be considered. Will provide direct support to clients on new and existing systems. Will also commission control systems as part of a startup team at client locations throughout the U.S.
Salary Range: $100k. to $130/k. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Electrical Engineer responsibilities include:
- Develop control system architecture diagrams.
- Lay out control panels and create electrical schematic designs using AutoCAD.
- Specify control system equipment, including electrical panel components and motor control center hardware
- Prepare control system assembly documentation, including bill of materials, wire list, and installation scope of work.
- Prepare PLC I/O assignment lists.
- Develop network designs and specify industrial data center equipment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Minimum 10 years related experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- AutoCAD drawing experience is required.
- Experience working within an automated process environment.
