Project Manager M&A
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 12+ Months
Role Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the migration of applications into the environment as part of the acquisition integration. Working closely with IT leadership and the Application Administrator, this role will drive project planning, stakeholder engagement, governance, risk management, and execution oversight to ensure application migrations are delivered on time and with minimal business disruption.

- Project Management & Delivery Leadership: Proven ability to manage complex technology projects, coordinate multiple workstreams, and deliver against aggressive timelines.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills across business, technology, and executive audiences.
- Program Governance & Risk Management: Experience managing project governance, risks, dependencies, change control, and executive reporting.
- Technology Project Coordination: Ability to work effectively with technical teams, understand application migration concepts, and translate technical activities into actionable project plans.
- Organizational Change Management: Experience coordinating communications, training, business readiness, and user adoption activities during technology transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements for application migration initiatives.
- Partner with the Application Administrator to coordinate application assessments, migration planning, testing, cutovers, and post-migration activities.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, review migration decisions, and resolve issues.
- Prepare and deliver status reports, executive updates, and steering committee materials.
- Coordinate business readiness, communication plans, training activities, and user adoption efforts as required.
- Ensure migration activities are aligned with business priorities, compliance requirements, and operational objectives.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on users, business operations, and delivery timelines.
Ideal Experience:
- 5+ years of project management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.
- Experience supporting SaaS application migrations, M&A integrations, digital transformation, or large-scale technology deployments.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft 365, Jira, Miro, RingCentral, Meraki, identity and access management systems, and other enterprise applications.
- Experience working across multiple organizations or business units in highly collaborative environments.
- Strong proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
Success Measures
- Migration milestones delivered on schedule and within agreed scope.
- Effective coordination between stakeholders.
- Timely identification and resolution of project risks and dependencies.
- Clear and consistent executive and stakeholder communications.
- Seamless business transition with minimal disruption to end users and operations.
