Position Summary

The Manager, EBS Applications & Business Intelligence (BI) serves as the leader of all applications driving the business and partners closely with senior leaders to drive standardization, disciplined change management, and data integrity across regions and functions. This role is accountable for roadmap development, operational stability, business intelligence/reporting, and leveraging ERP platforms to enable business growth, process simplification, regulatory compliance, and scale. This position requires exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners.

This full-time exempt position reports to the CFO, and ensures that technology capabilities directly enable growth, operational excellence, and competitive advantage within the nutraceutical industry. This position generally works Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm but may be required to work on an altered schedule to meet the needs of the business. This position is in Olympia, WA, and local travel to other company locations, and training seminars may be required from time to time. Work responsibilities herein represent typical elements and criteria considered necessary to perform the job successfully. Other duties may be assigned to meet emerging business needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains a multi-year enterprise business systems and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and evolving business needs.
  • Serves as the business owner for the enterprise applications portfolio, establishing governance processes and internal controls for system enhancements, prioritization, user access, change requests, and release management.
  • Practices data-driven decision making; utilizing advanced analytics tools to measure ROI, providing actionable insights, and reports on program performance to key stakeholders.
  • Partners with Product Innovation to provide key inputs on relevant internal business data.
  • Maintains end-to-end oversight and management of Business Intelligence and reporting processes (data extraction, transformation & enrichment, accuracy/quality, availability, timeliness, etc.)
  • Monitors and forecasts key account metrics, including quarterly sales results and annual forecasts, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Leads administration (system and database), enhancement, and continuous optimization of core enterprise systems, including the ERP (SAP Business One), integrations (Starship, Avalara, Alluvia, etc), tools (Data Transfer, EDI), upgrades, patches and releases.
  • Partners with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and other functional leaders to gather and translate business requirements into scalable, effective technology solutions.
  • Manages relationships with external vendors, consultants, and technology partners to ensure performance, cost efficiency, and service quality. Negotiates and monitors pricing, support parameters, and service level commitments.
  • Engages stakeholders across the organization to identify and implement opportunities to optimize business processes through technology and automation, while maintaining industry compliance.
  • Leads user acceptance testing, training, change management, communication, and adoption efforts for new or existing systems, enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Ensures successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and with high-quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5) years of progressive experience leading enterprise business systems, ERP platforms, and data analysis, preferably within manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or food and beverage environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise administering and optimizing ERP systems, with preference for SAP Business One or comparable platforms.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional enterprise systems initiatives, including ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation efforts.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across finance, supply chain, and commercial operations, and ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Experience managing enterprise application portfolios, including ERP, CRM, e-commerce, sales tax, warehouse management, business intelligence, and related systems.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to executive stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, data modeling, budgeting and coordination of people and resources.

Wage Range (DOE): $112,270 - $185,450 per year
