As a bootstrapped and profitable company with no investors in the cap table, we are free to do what makes sense from the business, tech and product perspective. NB: This is a contract-based position. We are a fully remote company and welcome applicants from the listed countries, as well as candidates based in similar regions and time zones.

Requirements

• Proactive, independent ownership - Anticipate issues, verify assumptions against reality, and drive outcomes without hand-holding.
• Experience operating production systems with real stakes, including databases, queues, and stateful workloads - scaling, failover, and migrations without downtime.
• Ability to debug a distributed system you didn’t build, from symptom to verified root cause, and write it up so others can act on it.
• Security awareness as a habit - Least privilege, blast radius, and secrets hygiene.
• Ability to code for infrastructure using Python, Go, or Bash.
• Fluent written English.
• Growth mindset and hunger to learn.
• Ability to use AI assistants effectively and identify when they’re wrong.

Budget

The budget range for this role is €5.000,00/Month – €10.000,00/Month, depending on the candidate’s level of experience and fit with the position requirements.
