AiStudio is an AI consultancy that embeds engineers directly inside portfolio companies of leading private equity firms. We don't sell software from the sidelines, we deploy engineers into the businesses themselves to build and ship AI solutions that move real metrics: cost savings, automation, revenue. We work with PE firms and their portfolio companies, building production systems ranging from ML models replacing manual processes to internal tools powering firm-wide operations.

The Role: Forward Deployed Engineer

As an FDE, you'll be embedded directly with client teams to understand real business problems and ship working software against them. This isn't a research role and it isn't classic consulting. You'll be writing code, shipping to production, and owning outcomes end to end, from scoping a solution design to deploying something a client's team relies on daily.

What you'll actually do:

Scope and design technical solutions for live business problems, often replacing manual or legacy processes with automated, ML-driven ones
Build production tools end to end (data pipelines, backend architecture, automation) using modern stacks and AI APIs
Work directly with client stakeholders, translating ambiguous asks into shipped features
Take ownership of your workstream, from architecture decisions to deployment tradeoffs

What we look for:

Strong CS fundamentals and genuine comfort shipping production code, not just prototypes
Ability to work with ambiguity and talk directly to non-technical stakeholders
Bias toward outcomes over process; you care whether the thing you built actually worked
