Job Overview
We are looking for a Backend AI Engineer Intern based in Lucknow who is passionate about backend development and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will work closely with our engineering and AI teams to build AI-powered applications, backend services, APIs, and integrations with modern AI/LLM technologies.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work on real-world AI products and gain practical experience in Python, backend development, LLMs, APIs, databases, and AI application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python.
• Integrate AI/LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar platforms.
• Build AI-powered features and backend workflows.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Develop integrations with third-party APIs and services.
• Work on LLM workflows, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
• Debug, test, and optimize backend and AI-related functionality.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and AI teams to build and launch new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Python.
• Understanding of backend development and REST APIs.
• Basic understanding of Generative AI and LLMs.
• Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.

Good to Have
Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Claude or other LLM APIs.
Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI frameworks.
Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, or pgvector.
Basic understanding of Docker and cloud platforms.
Personal or academic projects involving AI, LLMs, or backend development.

Eligibility

• Students or recent graduates from Computer Science, IT, AI/ML, or related fields.
• Candidates with strong Python and backend fundamentals.
• Candidates who have worked on AI, LLM, backend, or API-based projects.
• Candidates must be based in Lucknow and available to work from the office
